On 25 May 2024, the Sappi Karkloof MTB & Trail Festival was held in Howick, KZN. We are very proud of the Rustenburg Cycling Club’s Juniors who were chosen as part of the North West Team to participated in the SA XCM National Championship.
Congratulations to Luan Vermeulen, Anrich Barkhuizen & Ruan Espach who endured a very tuff 60km course and did very well.
Anrich Barkhuizen was 130th overall with a Time of 04:20 and 24th in his Men’s Junior 0/17-18 Category;
Ruan Espach was 65th overall with a time of 03:45 and 22nd in his Men’s Junior 0/15-16 Category.
Nico Espach also participated in the Male Master 0/50-59 Category for 60km with a time of 05:09
