Magalies Monster Race

On Saturday, 1st June 2024 the members of Rustenburg Cycling Club participated in the Magalies Monster MTB Race.

It was a very difficult new course and the cyclists had to delf deep to finish. Congratulations to each member with the exceptional times and podiums.

Justin van der Linde 62km, he came 1st in the Vets Age Category with a time of 2:45;
Riaan Rall 62km, he came 3rd in the Vets Age Category with a time of 3:14;
Anrich Barkhuizen (Middle) 33km, he came 1st in the Juniors Age Category (U/17-18) with a time of 1:22;
(Not our club members:2nd Place Daimon Batteson, 3rd Place Partha Gosh).
Lynn van Tonder 62km, she finished first in her age category with a time of 05:03, although she fell a few times she did very well;
3rd Place Riaan Rall (RCC Member), 1st Place Justin van der Linde (RCC Member), 2nd Place Willem du Plessis (Not a RCC member);
Danie du Plooy, 33km and he came 6th in the Juniors Age Category (U/17-18) with a time of 1:25 & Anrich Barkhuizen.
