The Namaqua Quest is a three-day mountain bike event held in the renowned Namakwa region of the Northern Cape, South Africa. Day 1 takes riders through the Copper Mountains, Day 2 explores the trails of Goegap Nature Reserve, and Day 3 follows routes across a private farm just outside Springbok.

Two of our club members, Malindi Schoonraad and Neels Wolmarans, successfully completed all three days of mountain biking and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Closer to home, several club members took part in the 91 km Blue Diamond Classic Road Race. This annual event is hosted at the Ditsong Willem Prinsloo Agricultural Museum.

Justin van der Linde and Hesca de Villiers completed the race in an excellent time of 02H54, securing 1st place in the tandem category.

Johan Roos and Gregg Taylor also delivered a strong performance, finishing in a time of 02H55.
