Die Bosveld, just 20 km north of central Pretoria, hosted round five of the 2026 Ford Trailseeker Series on Saturday, 1 August.

Seven riders from the Rustenburg Cycling Club lined up in the crisp winter air across both the 70 km and 40 km events.

Despite extremely dusty conditions, the team enjoyed fast, flowing singletrack through classic bushveld terrain.

The flat, punchy course made for quick racing and plenty of smiles, with everyone embracing the challenge and the adventure.

A great day out for RCC at one of the Highveld’s favourite MTB venues.

The day ended with well-earned refreshments in the finishers’ zone, where riders shared stories and reflected on the day’s events.
