The Trans Baviaans is the toughest and most rewarding mountain bike race in the country.

It is an adventure that tests endurance, celebrated the raw beauty of the Baviaanskloof, and unite riders through shared challenge and camaraderie.

On 09 August 2025 a few Rustenburg Cycling Club Members participated in this race, which starts at Willowmore and ends in Jeffreysbay on 11 August 2025 (3xday race – 230km).
