NW Marathon Champs 2024 Van Gaalen
On Saturday, 27 July 2024 the Rustenburg Cycling Juniors participated in the Van Gaalen NW Marathon Championship. There was Highs and lows. Congratulations to Luan Vermeulen with his First-Place podium in the Juniors Category for men u/17-19. Unfortunately, Anrich Barkhuizen and Elruscka Coetzer fell/crashed during their events, and we wish them a speedy recovery.

SA Duathlon Race
On 07 July 2024 Lynn van Tonder participated in the SA Duathlon Sprint event at Die Midmar Dam, KZN. It was a 5km run, 20km cycle and again 2.5km run. Rustenburg Cycling Club is very proud of her 2nd Place in her age category 64-69. Well done Lynn for your excellent podium place.
Trailseeker Race Sondela
On 06 July 2024 Jannie van der Westhuizen participated in the Ford Trailseeker Race at Sondela with a Time of 1:35 (40km). Jannie came 8th in the Masters Men 50-59 Category out of 95 participants.
